Lesson 2: Recruit, select and induct team members

Team members are recruited according to project requirements and H.R. procedures and policies.

Contractual obligations are explained to the new recruit according to relevant labour legislation.

New team members are inducted in accordance with organizational procedures.
Lesson 3: Supervise work team and monitor performance

A professional workplace environment is explained in terms of a simulation and/or case study to maximizing productivity, maintaining comfort and minimizing risks.

Performance of team members are monitored and corrective action is taken in terms of a simulation and/or case study.

Feedback to team members is provided in terms of workplace performance according to organizational procedures.

Team conflict and grievances are addressed and/or reported according to organizational procedures
Lesson 4: Train, coach and develop team members.

Workplace skills of team members are evaluated to identify knowledge and skills gaps according to specific trade requirements.

On-job training and coaching schedule is compiled in terms of identified re-skilling and up skilling requirements.

Mentoring is conducted in terms of re-skilling and up-skilling requirements.

Skills development of team members are monitored according to the re-skilling and up-skilling requirements.
